Local Sports Sponsorships

Spotlight: Western Suburbs Junior Cricket

In Perth, five Domino's stores have joined forces to sponsor the Western Suburbs Junior Cricket Association, supporting over 1,200 young cricketers. Beyond financial support, the partnership includes pizza nights for volunteers, end-of-season celebrations, and "Player of the Match" awards featuring pizza vouchers.

"The Domino's sponsorship has been a game-changer for our club," says Sarah Williams, President of Western Suburbs Junior Cricket. "Not only has it reduced costs for families, but the pizza nights have become a favorite community tradition that brings everyone together."

Supporting All Abilities Sports

We're particularly proud of our partnerships with all-abilities sports organizations that create inclusive sporting opportunities. In Victoria, Domino's stores sponsor the All Abilities Basketball League, providing not just financial support but also volunteer staff members who assist during game days.

Feeding Those in Need

Feed the Knead Program

Through our "Feed the Knead" program, Domino's stores identify local organizations serving vulnerable community members and provide regular pizza donations. Participating organizations include homeless shelters, youth centers, and domestic violence refuges.

In 2023, the program provided over 50,000 meals to Australians in need, with plans to expand to 75,000 meals in 2024.

Dough Raisers

Our "Dough Raiser" events allow community groups to host fundraising nights where a percentage of all sales during a designated period is donated to their cause. Schools, sports clubs, and community organizations can apply to host a Dough Raiser at their local Domino's, providing an easy and delicious way to raise funds.

Last year, Dough Raisers across Australia generated over $400,000 for local community causes.

Disaster Relief Efforts

Flood Relief

During the devastating floods that affected Queensland and New South Wales in 2023, Domino's stores across the affected regions mobilized to provide meals for emergency service workers, volunteers, and displaced residents.

In Lismore, one of the hardest-hit areas, the local Domino's store operated from a generator to produce over 5,000 pizzas for the community in the week following the floods. Store team members, many of whom were affected by the floods themselves, worked tirelessly to ensure hot meals were available to those in need.

Bushfire Response

Domino's Australia maintains a dedicated Disaster Response Team that can be quickly deployed to support communities affected by bushfires. The team uses mobile pizza ovens to provide meals in areas where normal food service may be disrupted.

During the 2019-2020 Black Summer bushfires, this team served over 30,000 meals to firefighters, volunteers, and affected communities across four states.

Environmental Community Projects

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our operations to include community environmental initiatives.

Community Clean-Up Days

Domino's stores regularly organize and participate in local clean-up events, removing rubbish from beaches, parks, and waterways. In 2023, over 5,000 Domino's team members participated in clean-up events nationwide, collecting more than 15 tonnes of waste.

Several Domino's franchisees have partnered with local schools to establish vegetable gardens that teach students about sustainable food production. These partnerships often include pizza-making workshops using ingredients grown in the school gardens.

First Job Program
